R/c cars: can u change the new trigger remotes to the old up down left left right remotes?

im looking to buy a remote control car but all the new ones have this trigger control turny thing. is ther anyway i can change this to the old fashioned remote when i buy it?

You sure can. All you should need is a 2 or 3 channel stick type radio and receiver and you are ready to race. I learned on the stick radios many year ago and it took me awhile to get use to the pistol type. now I wont use anything else.
