Hmm assume you have settled on a Dell computer? My bro asked my advice on a Dell computer he wanted to nab so he went for a Dell XPS 420. Switch out the blu-ray and other frills and it is a really bang for buck kindda brand name system ^^ Went with quad+320GB+4gb RAM w/o blu-ray Gonna set up small SOHO for him near future hehe Oh ya Vista Home Premium and not basic cos the latter has no aero ^^
Reply:Dell PCs are never worth the money. If you get someone to help you make a custom PC you can save a LOT of money. Dell are rip-offs.





Just get someone who is good with computers and building them to help you out with choosing parts and let him/her build the machine. It works out TONS cheaper.
