The problem is that my computer has damaged circuits from past viruses, thunderstorms, etc. that prevent the folder destination that is being provided from working properly. These error messages say that I have performed an illegal operation and that my Yahoo! Messenger will be shut down.

Download zone alarm from the internet latest edition is free also down load AVG anti virus and AVG anti spyware all are free and you wont look back. they detect everything and they update daily so you have latest anti virus and spyware definitions I've used thes e for years with no problem and they are also recommended by computer geeks everywhere.

He bounced from job to job to make money to raise his daughter and to do shows. He eventually made it into California to a show. Weeks later, he's found by major produces Dr. Dre. It's just wherever they got their big break into the business of hip hop. The only hip hop groups or artists that I know that don't come from the major hip hop cities are: Little Brother from North Carolina and Chris Brown from Virginia, among others. I hope that answers your question on that and the go-go music, I couldn't help you there.

Torque converter on a 84 mustang C 4 3 speed trany .allready changed trany that slippin .new hardly move car
one bolt is broken off bell housing.never changed the torque converter the first time ,got tranny from pull-a-part so its not nessasarily a good trany,but is it possible that the torque converter was my problem all along. i,m going to use an easy out to fix the bolt while its out.but i dont want to take this apart any more times then i have 2.is ther any way 2 know if a tranys good with out putting it in? new or used torque converter It only 12$ for a used .can it be checked with out putting it in?

theres not much can go wrong with a torque converter, except when the tranny goes out and fills them with debris :(
Reply:It is possible that the slip fit fins in your torque converter came free in which case the tranny would slip. drop the pan and drain your fluid and replace the filter. Odds are you happened to pick up another bad tranny though. Good luck.
Reply:The C3 trans is a pretty simple tranny to rebuild. I have done several tranny rebuild on C3 C4 Trannys TH350's and th400's 727 torque flights. A lot of the older trannys are pretty simple. Rebuild kits are dirt cheap. (Around 50-75) I'm surprised you used the old converter. anytime a tranny starts to slip thats an indication that the clutch packs are starting to fail. When they fail they shed lots of material in to the fluid. I would locate a shop that will do a tranny flush (Not a drop the pan and refill) they will pull the pan attach the flush system and flush all the old fluid out of the tranny and Converter. they will also be able to see if there are any large particles in the fluid. (recommend to do this once a year. the 66 Coronet that I have has 278,000 on the tranny after my rebuild.) you should, if you treat her right, never have to replace a transmission again. Let me know if this helps. But definitely replace the converter.

Is the new Dark Knight trailer of two face with 10,000 B.C.?
It was reported on IGN that a new DARK KNIGHT trailer would come out with the movie 10,000 BC.
Unfortunately , many fans were disappointed to see that there was no new trailer being shown. It was the same trailer that came out the last time.
The next Dark Knight trailer will focus more on the relationship between Bruce and Harvey Dent.
Chris Nolan has said from the begining even before Heaths passing, that the movie would focus primarily on Harvey Dent.
The advertising campaign from the start was always to advertise the Joker, and as the time got closer to the release, more trailers would appear about Harvey Dent.
There viral marketing campaign, is one of the most successful and creative ways to get fans wondering and wanting more.

Just make yourself at home. It's hard and still hard for me after my girlfriend broke up with me that I had to move from an apartment community that I super enjoyed to a dump community that I hate. But I made a few friends. Just keep yourself busy and stay out of your aprtment along as you can by visiting friends or working. Find a second job just to stay busy.

How do I change my c drive for a new larger one?
my new Dell came with a 60 GB HD and I would like to change it for a bigger one, it does not come with an extra SATA or IDE port so I cannot add a secondary drive, the thing is, I want to move all of the contents, including the OS (vista home basic) so, I'd love some recommendations.

I'd say learn java first because it's more fun; making cool stuff like windows and GUIs is easier.
Personally I learned C++ first (terminal only, then I went to Java). Both are very similar so if you learn one you won't have problems learning the other.

Did I just start my new cycle? Question for after a D&C.....?
My husband and I are ready to get back on the TTC train...but I am confused as to when my next cycle begins. I understand I need to give myself at least one full cycle to conceive but, I'd like to know when that would exactly start.
I am spotting now from the D%26amp;C...very light spotting...and I know I might have to wait 6 weeks to see a regular period again, but...question is...when does my next actual cycle begin so that I can start charting?
I do have my follow-up visit scheduled with my OB/GYN in 2 weeks and plan to discuss this, but if anyone knows about cycles after D%26amp;Cs that would be great!

Even though my period didn't last very long for the first cycle the doctor said "we'll call that a period" So basically you should just have to wait that 6 weeks you are supposed to wait anyway..and then GO FOR IT!!! My period actually came back a bit heavier then it usually is and I was pregnant two weeks after that. Even with my period being MIA for 10 weeks, my baby is dating only 1 day off by ultrasound so I must have ovulated according to my regular dates.

The best thing to do would be for him to ask for time off around your due date. If you don't go into labor naturally, don't start hounding your doctor about cutting on you right then. Try a pitocin drop (being induced). This should send you into labor, and there's no reason for them not to do it unless there are complications.

You cannot request a c-section unless there is a medical reason that you would need one. C-sections are major surgery, there are a lot of complications and if he is only going to be home for two days, you will still be in the hospital recovering when he leaves. Then you have a full six weeks of recovery ahead of time. Can't he request some time off? Companies are required to give you Family Medical Leave. Just plan it around the time you are due.

Some doctors will induce labor on or around your due date, but most will not do a c-section out of convenience for your husband to be there. My second child we planned to try labor but had no choice, so when the time for a c-section came I was able to schedule it so my husband was present. Talk to your doctor about it and see if there's anything he or she can do. A c-section is not an easy thing to recover from, it is MAJOR surgery and if I had been able to do things naturally I would do so out of concern for myself. I was unable to move and could hardly pick up my own newborn child. Perhaps inducing would work better, but only your doctor can discuss that with you. I have no idea what to say about the gender, an ultrasound may or may not tell you. My son didn't want me to know, so I had to assume throughout my pregnancy.

Reply:Well, from what i know I'm guessing that your baby is a girl but don't hold me to that...if your belly is like a watermelon and carrying low in the front, my friend had a baby that was a girl when she carried it like that....and the longer that your baby is in your stomach the healthier it will probably be when you give birth...i advise against a c-section because of all the risks unless absolutely necessary but it's up to you...i understand that you want your husband to be home for your birth but you also need to think about the health of your baby...if your doctor says that is no risk and you're set to have one...go for it....Good Luck and Congratulations!

Most doctors and hospitals are backtracking and not recommending VBACs anymore so this decision could affect future pregnancies. When they schedule cesareans, it is between 38 and 39 wks because the baby will be ready and they don't want to risk you going into labor before surgery. Good luck.

Reply:It sounds like a girl to me b/c i'm 25 weeks pregnant and carrying the same way and well there pretty sure its a girl it will be more confirmed when i go for another ultrasound tommrow but i carried completely opposite with my son. As far as a c-section for me it would be an absolouteeee last resort. But another alternative could be having an induction. With my son i had to be induced b/c i was 1 week and a half past my due date . After 18hrs of labour he was born perfect and healthly. And this woiuld allow your husband to share in the whole process with you. Also if he's unable to take off a little time you should make sure you have a back up plan of help even if it someone who can just run to the grocery store for you. Good luck!

im jnsut curious about this new planet that theyve found 20 light years away which may have the rite amount of water and oxygen, and climate to support. Do any casinos in A C give money or free play to new members they can actually cash in on the first visit?
I'm going to Atlantic City this Sunday and am trying to find the casinos that have incentives for new members that you can cash in on that day and not wait for the refund on your losses to come back to you in the mail. Even if its just $5 or $10 bucks, I know at some places in Shreveport they give you $5 cash just for signing up for a card, so I was wondering if there were any in Atlantic City that offered similar deals.

Yes, remove the old drive and look at its label, it should show you how to set the jumpers on it from master to slave. Your new computer will hopefully already have a 2 position cable attached to its hard drive, then you just change the other drive to slave and plug it in the extra connector. You may need a new IDE cable and also some hard drives require a different setting between master and single drive which would mean you'd need to remove the drive from the new computer and change its setting as well.

HI!, I am looking to buy a new Window AC for home use.I personally feel that 2 Ton capacity AC will be fine for me.But I am confused with the brands availiable in the market.Can Any one guide me on this ?. Efficiency should be the primary part to sort.

if you want to invest more, than go for a Hitachi I feel that they make lesser noise than the samsung ,lg ones. But window acs make lil noise. You should proly consider goin for a split ac too,as they are competitively priced ths days.

This is probably more of a statement than a real question so it will get deleted I am sure......I had a c-section 5 months ago, my doctor used some kind of clear glue instead of stitches on the outside. I just want pregnant moms to know about this, not all doctors use it, ask if it is an option for you. My best friend gave birth the day before me and her doc used stitches, we compared scars and mine is barely even visable, hers is very noticeable and she said it still hurts a little. Were you aware that this was an option? I never heard of it before it was done.

I took my friend to the mall the other day to buy some new shoes. We decided to grab a bite at the food court. I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, and blue. My friend kept staring at him. The teenager would look and find him staring every time.
When the teenager had enough, he sarcastically asked, "What's the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life?"
Knowing my friend, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not choke on his response; knowing he would have a good one. And in classic style he did not bat an eye in his response.
"Got drunk once and had sex with a peacock. I was just wondering if you were my son."
Reply:Yes my wife was glued back together after the birth of our youngest son. The doc also cut out the previous scar that was there from the 1st c-section she had. (This was in 1997)
Reply:Yes, I was told of this option by my nurse practitioner. Don't know if it's available for me (I have a vertical scar) for the next c-section, but that would certainly be cool. I can't have staples due to an allergy to surgical steel, so it would be that or traditional stitches. I hated getting some of those out! As far as a scar, I have a huge one down the middle of my belly anyway, so that won't make much difference there.
Reply:I had a post-partum tubal and the surgeon used this glue on my incision. Granted, an incision in the belly button is much smaller than that for a c-section, but I was very happy with the results. I have no scar and no pain!
Reply:I hope it does not get deleted. When I was in the hospital the nurse called and said I could take a shower and to call her after and she would help me remove my bandage. I was terrified. My husband came and held my hand while she removed it. We both just stared in amazement at the incision, there was no blood, no stitches, no swelling, no oozing....nothing. My scar looks like a little cat scratch 10 months later.
I am forever grateful to my doc for putting me back together so beatifully. I think everyone should know about this option. I read posts here all the time about persistant incision pain, which I NEVER had. Everyone should ask. Great Question!!
Reply:It really depends on the doctor...They're finding that people heal better and have less infection and scarring with the dermal glue over staples and stitches. I know exactly what you're talking about. My doc used the glue on me in november and I was healed up so rapidly and still have not had any incision pain! My best friend has had the traditional sutures and staples and her scar looks so much worse then the itty bitty one I ended up with.
It wasn't presented as an option per se. My doc told me thats how he closes the skin while he was talking me through what a c-section includes. I'm sure if I had objected he would have done it the other way but I already knew that the dermal glue heals better plus it avoids staples. With the fact that i'm allergic to most metals it was a bonus that there wouldn't be staples in my skin!

I took my friend to the mall the other day to buy some new shoes. We decided to grab a bite at the food court. I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, and blue. My friend kept staring at him. The teenager would look and find him staring every time.
When the teenager had enough, he sarcastically asked, "What's the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life?"
Knowing my friend, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not choke on his response; knowing he would have a good one. And in classic style he did not bat an eye in his response.
"Got drunk once and had sex with a peacock. I was just wondering if you were my son."
Reply:Yes my wife was glued back together after the birth of our youngest son. The doc also cut out the previous scar that was there from the 1st c-section she had. (This was in 1997)
Reply:Yes, I was told of this option by my nurse practitioner. Don't know if it's available for me (I have a vertical scar) for the next c-section, but that would certainly be cool. I can't have staples due to an allergy to surgical steel, so it would be that or traditional stitches. I hated getting some of those out! As far as a scar, I have a huge one down the middle of my belly anyway, so that won't make much difference there.
Reply:I had a post-partum tubal and the surgeon used this glue on my incision. Granted, an incision in the belly button is much smaller than that for a c-section, but I was very happy with the results. I have no scar and no pain!
Reply:I hope it does not get deleted. When I was in the hospital the nurse called and said I could take a shower and to call her after and she would help me remove my bandage. I was terrified. My husband came and held my hand while she removed it. We both just stared in amazement at the incision, there was no blood, no stitches, no swelling, no oozing....nothing. My scar looks like a little cat scratch 10 months later.
I am forever grateful to my doc for putting me back together so beatifully. I think everyone should know about this option. I read posts here all the time about persistant incision pain, which I NEVER had. Everyone should ask. Great Question!!
Reply:It really depends on the doctor...They're finding that people heal better and have less infection and scarring with the dermal glue over staples and stitches. I know exactly what you're talking about. My doc used the glue on me in november and I was healed up so rapidly and still have not had any incision pain! My best friend has had the traditional sutures and staples and her scar looks so much worse then the itty bitty one I ended up with.
It wasn't presented as an option per se. My doc told me thats how he closes the skin while he was talking me through what a c-section includes. I'm sure if I had objected he would have done it the other way but I already knew that the dermal glue heals better plus it avoids staples. With the fact that i'm allergic to most metals it was a bonus that there wouldn't be staples in my skin!

But I don't think I would be a candidate for it. I had a c-section done one year ago so he is just going to cut open the same scare, so I don't have 2. I've been away since the begining of Fall Semester 05, where I was a resident of LA, but I won't be able to get back to New Orleans until Fall Semester of 06. Does anyone know if I will be considered a non-resident when I re-enroll, due to the residency requirements?

Well, are you still considered a resident of Lousiana? Do you still have a permanent residence in the state? I think that would make the difference. Also, I think you have to stay in a separate state for about...5 or 6 years before you are made a resident of THAT state.
Look up the Lousiana College board, and you may get a better answer than the one from me.

I'm 17. My boyfriend and I have known eachother for about a year. We became really close and we were extremely happy. Things were great! We loved eachother! Wow. C++ is the hardest of all the .NET languages, because it can do more. I'd talk whoever this is into letting you do it in C#, which you can learn more quickly.
Part of the problem is that C++ is also built for unmanaged code, has more ability to work with it than other .NET languages - and is primarily used for unmanaged code. Most Windows C++ tutorials will teach you how to do classic C++ with ATL or MFC... and then you'd have to learn to use the Framework, which is totally different.
Sybex's Visual C++.NET book is pretty good... but you'd be expected to have a grounding in C++ already:

Hi Guys,
how can I add new maps to Command and Conquer 3 kane edition so they appear in the skrimsh section of the main menu in the game.
I already downloaded world map, but it doesn't give me any options on how to add the new map to the map list inside the game.

Installing new auto A/c?
First,I read that you need to "oil" the seals and everything when you replace them.Do you use the same compressor oil?Next:I read that you also put in oil into a new compressor.Where does it go?Just right in the lines?I dont have all the parts yet.Thanks

I think you will find you can not set up the a/c in most states unless you are licenced, so be very careful what you are doing.

"Interdynamics Ester Oil Charge: With O-Ring Conditioner". what you might want to do is install the compressor but dont run it. take it to a shop and have them vacuum it, lube and charge it. that is what i did many years back.

First you need to find out how much oil goes into the compressure. And yes you just pour it into the holes where the lines connect. Check with the compressure makes to find out how much oil.
There is the compressure oil calles ESTER 100
In your case the oil goes into the compressure. As you pour the oil in rotate the clutch so it works in the oil into the compressure.
So say it takes 3.2 ozs pour it into the compressure.But what ever you do , do not over fill it.
After connecting all the lines connect the pump to removee all the air befor charging it with freon
Reply:i own a repair shop and if your having to ask all of these questions it means you never have done anything like this before,and you,ll mess it up if it isn't done right ,if i was you id take it a shop and have it fixed,i been at this for 36 years,and i still don't like messing with ac systems,too much can go wrong,and every time something goes wrong it cost you money,so id take it in ,and have it fixed,good luck with it hope this helps.

What is the big deal? Arrays and pointers are very similar, in fact, C tends to pass arrays by reference while passing individual variables by value -- meaning you pass it to a function and can usually modify the values directly using either array[offset] or *array+offset.
An array is a contiguous block of memory which holds as many elements as you have set aside memory for. While pointers can be arcane and therefore it is possible to approach arrays in an arcane manner, there is nothing arcane about arrays themselves unless they are strings.
Assuming what you enter are 1s and 0s, then this line will convert all the 1s to 5s:
for (i=1;i%26lt;=n;i++) if (bit[i]==1) bit[i]=5;
And your program shouldn't crash. It will store garbage in all the elements you don't specify, it will crash if you try to store eight or more values (arrays start at array[0] not array[1]) and it won't check for improper inputs but it's all straightforward.
You can also add an else bit[i]=0;

A new A/C/Furnace System?
A while ago, I posted a question about the subject. I appreciate those gave good suggestions. I did not sign the $7000 contract to have a new one installed. But I did risk the CO issue. I have installed two digital readout alarms in two separate bed rooms...two months into using the furnace (heater), the reading on both still show zero. Likewise, the contractor was scamming. Any idea how we should stop this? I do believe business in good standing and good ethics should be back padded and have their name known. But, I don't know how to handle the bad ones.

The local chamber of commerce should also be notified. A contractor tried to scam me once and just the THREAT of this action changed his whole attitude.

There is no easy answer to "should you".
You CAN learn java/j2me without knowing C/C++.
You WILL understand j2me programming better if you know C first since it will force you to think about writing small, tight, efficient code and how some of the higher level (and more computationally expensive) constructs of java work.
It WILL take you a year or more to be even moderately competent at C/C++ which means delaying your learning of j2me.
So is it worth it? Only you can answer.

Reply:You should first learn programming if you're new to programming. Learning a language without learning programming leads to bad code, frustration and other bad things. Get a copy of Wirth's "Algorithms + Data Structures = Programs" and learn why you do what you do first, then learn a language to do it in. (Once you know how to program, no language is really difficult, except FORTH [you have to stand on your head].)

There is a series of books, "Teach Yourself - - - in 21 Days" and "Teach Yourself - - - in 24 Hours". In each case, you replace the "- - -" with what you want to learn.
I have the book, "Teach Yourself Visual Basic 6 in 21 Days", and it was enough to get me up and running, so I highly recommend this series of books by SAMS.

There is no easy answer to "should you".
You CAN learn java/j2me without knowing C/C++.
You WILL understand j2me programming better if you know C first since it will force you to think about writing small, tight, efficient code and how some of the higher level (and more computationally expensive) constructs of java work.
It WILL take you a year or more to be even moderately competent at C/C++ which means delaying your learning of j2me.
So is it worth it? Only you can answer.

Reply:You should first learn programming if you're new to programming. Learning a language without learning programming leads to bad code, frustration and other bad things. Get a copy of Wirth's "Algorithms + Data Structures = Programs" and learn why you do what you do first, then learn a language to do it in. (Once you know how to program, no language is really difficult, except FORTH [you have to stand on your head].)
Reply:I'm not familiar with j2me, but I can recommend a book that will help.
There is a series of books, "Teach Yourself - - - in 21 Days" and "Teach Yourself - - - in 24 Hours". In each case, you replace the "- - -" with what you want to learn.
I have the book, "Teach Yourself Visual Basic 6 in 21 Days", and it was enough to get me up and running, so I highly recommend this series of books by SAMS.

My usb cable doesnt fit my p.c. my p.c. is new and the cord is about 2 yrs old...is it to out of date?
i just got a new HP computer with the media package. I was trying to download pictures but the USB cable doesnt fit. The cable is about a year and a half to two years old. Is it possible that the cord is just to out of date?

i highly doubt it... are you sure your trying to put it in the USB port and not a fire-wire or LAN port??... I don't think they will ever change the shape of the USB port

Reply:USB cords have never changed shape, just internal speeds. Try looking around the new laptop as thye have added a lot more ports to laptops then they used to have.
Reply:Well, more than likely your cable is just up-side-down. Try plugging it in the other way. If it doesn't work, it's just probably your new computer's USB port isn't as "polished" and easy to plug in (it might need some WD-40, don't really do that) so push harder. If that still doesn't work, it could be broken or out of shape. The only thing you can do about that is buy a new one (a new cable not PC).

My mom's boyfriend has a camera with a USB cord but I didn't know about it and mine was not compatible with the camera because it had it's own special cord. So it is possible that you need to find a USB cord that is compatible with your laptop.

On a US port, there is kind of a rectangular block, so try turning it over and see if it fits. Also, make sure you are not trying to put it into a firewire port or something different.

Drive C is the Master, drive F is slave.

You can delete files anytime.. If you delete them before the transfer, then they won't get put on Drive F. You can't delete them after a transfer, on drive C at least, because they won't be there. But if you transfer everything to F, then you will be able to delete them then if that's your question.

It's new... but after a while, it couldnt fly properly (can fly up , keeps toppling sideways and crash). We didn't play with it carelessly...... I also noticed that the tail is not working properly...the tail rotor spins for a memonet then stops? What should I do? How to fix?

Help! new A/C tech having charge probs?
my problem is that i am running spring maintenance calls as a new hvac tech. with txv, and newer install piston/captube metering devises i am having no problems. on older piston/cap tubes is where im struggling according to everything ive been taught on how to check superheat i can seldom get it to work. i check the temp on the line near the service valves and compare it to the pressure converting it to temp using a tp chart or whats listed on the gauge. 9 times out of 10 there is no superheat reading which indicates to me overcharge or plugged up coil. ive cleaned coils condensor and pulled cleaned evaporator, checked orifices in the metering for plugs. ive removed freon and the pressure converted to temp using a tp chart matches the exact temperature of the the suction line meaning 0 superheat, it rides even. now old school method suction line beer can cold i have no problems. the lines are not freezing the compressor is not making funny noises. just no superheat reading.

Different manufacturers suggest diferrent means.Carrier uses a wet bulb temp. inside cross refrencing suction line temp. pressure and ambient air temp. outside.This tells you what the suction line temp.should be. This works well,if the temp.is too warm you add to the charge. If temp. is too cold you reduce the charge. This works great. Adjusting charges with this method i have dropped the temp.at the vent 8 to 10 degrees.So it works for me. This method is used on piston cap tube units.I have not serviced tex or thx units i believe they take a temp just past the valve and you can adjust the valve itself to get super heat and proper charge. An easier method to use on piston cap tube units is to look at your suction pressure on the guage,drop down to the temp.scale add 10 degrees and your suction line temp. should match up.So if you have 70 psi on the guage your r-22 temp is 42 degrees add 10 degrees and your suction line should be 52. This works very well,one of the best ac trainers in the country taught me this. I have checked it against the wet bulb method it is within a degree or two.WORKS GREAT. heat pumps are what i service,they are very sensitative to accurate charge a couple oz's. makes a difference. another tip is to get an accurate suction line temp.you must use a digital thermometer with a wire sensor.I pull the armor flex back and tape the sensor to the suction line then pull the armor flex over the sensor and tape it. This gives you an accurate temp. You do not get accurate temps.with infared on suction lines the air movement throws them off.Also it takes 20 minutes for a charge adjustment to show up on your guages and temp. readings so it is not a fast process to do correctly.One more thought,older units have corroded inside the metering device and cap tubes are probably smaller than a newer unit. Early in the season the air temp. outside is not that warm. When you have partial jug of 22 it charges slowly. When a unit is close to full or correct charge it gets real slow.Most guys turn the the jug over and liquid charge.Not suppose to do that.With the cooler temp. the 22 will freeze at the metering device then your suction pressure will not show a change eaven though your adding refrigerant.Next the suction line freezes,and the compressor makes all kinds of noise, Your suction pressure will fall off as if you have a stopped up line then the compressor kicks out on over load. Sound familiar?Actually were not suppose to liquid charge anytime,I know your thinking everyone does it and they do.In the cooler weather you need to get a 5 gallon bucket half full of hot water.put your 22 in that to heat it up right side up so you vapor charge this will save you a lot of extra work.Sorry to be so lengthy but there are whole books written on this subject.
Reply:Pretty good answers around the board....check your high side pressures...should be equal to 30 F plus ambient air temp...if less than undercharged..more than overcharged...Use 20 F for 410-A systems with the larger condensor coil.
also check amp draw on the compressor....overcharge puts more load on the compressor
TXV's will give you a correct superheat so be sure to check subcooling too.
oh- most importantly make sure all panels are in place!!!!!!

Reply:Overcharging is pretty common for a lot of techs. They like to read the gauge and keep dumping gas in until they get 62 psi suction. Beer can cold is still a bit cool for the suction line. It should stay pretty consistent with a txv, but will change a bit with an orifice (piston). The rule of thumb I learned when I started is 10 degrees superheat, 20 degrees temp drop across evaporator, 30 degrees temp pickup across condenser. This assumes that evap and cond coils are reasonably clean. Anymore, I don't use the gauges unless there's a problem. If you are getting airflow across both coils, your suction should be cool, but not ice cold....your liquid line should be ambient, or just a bit warm....you should feel heat coming from the condenser, and get a good temp drop across the evap. In many cases, there are a lot of variables (installation) which change the exact pressures and temps that the system will run at.
I guess the bottom line is that you have to have some superheat, or you'll kill the compressor, either sooner or later. Confirm that airflow, don't settle for less than 10 degrees superheat, 15 or even 20 is better yet.
It can be confusing at first, but try to imagine what the refrigerant is doing inside the pipe. If you understand the refrigeration process, it'll get easier with practice.

New statement in C++?
I have a test tomorrow where I have to insert a new statement into a class given to get the program to work. Basically if I get it to work I do well and get an A if I don't then I don't pass the class. I'm really stressed out and I understand pointers and somewhat classes. Can anyone demonstrate how you would use a new statement in classes?

You also say you need to add this statement to get the program to work. Not knowing why it's not working it's hard to say what needs to be done to make it work. However, I can give you an example of how and why you would use 'new' in a class.
In the simple example below, the class Array has a private attribute that is a pointer to some type, intended to be used to point to an array of objects of that type. In order to get the memory allocated that I need for the array, I use 'new' in the constructor.
So, I'm guessing that in your test, you'll encounter a similar situation. The class will have an attribute that is a pointer to something, and you'll use 'new' in the constructor to allocate the memory you need. Good luck!

Can you believe C. Ray Nagin, mayor of New Orleans, is planning a party to remember Katrina?
As a New Orleans native, I feel that it's a slap in the face. Katrina was the most devastating thing we've ever had to face and when I think back on that faithful day, I realize that I don't feel like partying. That's like saying,"Let's have a block party on Ground Zero in New York to ring in 9/11!" I don't think so. Your thoughts please.

I am with you all the way. They should not have a party. it is nothing to party about. My family lost everything we owned. If anything they should have a few moments of silence or something. There really is nothing to celebrate. maybe in 10 years when the city has rebuilt and recovered they could celebrate that. I think nagin is crazy. I really want to move back home. But right now I am not so sure.

I have observed Mr. Nagin on television a number of times, and despite having committed some faux pas`, I feel certain that his intentions are not to resurrect painful memories.
I believe that the party is not about Katrina's devastation, but rather is meant as a celebratory remembrance of the lives of the many fine people of New Orleans who lost their lives due to her destruction. Those people should always be remembered, and not forgotten.
Since funeral processions in New Olreans have always traditionally been depicted with jazz music, it would be my guess that it is Mr. Nagin's intention to remember his belated fellow citizens in a similar manner.

I'd be willing to bet that an integral component of the party will be commemoration of those lost.
To be honest, if done properly, I'm in favor of it. It's good for the spirit of the living to mourn the past, remember the fallen, then move on to the present and future. Recovery requires an optimistic vision of what will be, not so much what was.

Reply:Did you ever think that he might be wanting people look at bringing back the joy and excitement in New Orleans. Yes there was loss of life and property and peoples dreams but he obviously doesn't want people to just lay down and die in their past memories of what once was good. He wants to instill a sense of pride in them and let them know that he wants to make New Orleans a better place to be and if everyone works together that might just happen.
