Did I just start my new cycle? Question for after a D&C.....?

My husband and I are ready to get back on the TTC train...but I am confused as to when my next cycle begins. I understand I need to give myself at least one full cycle to conceive but, I'd like to know when that would exactly start.





I am spotting now from the D%26amp;C...very light spotting...and I know I might have to wait 6 weeks to see a regular period again, but...question is...when does my next actual cycle begin so that I can start charting?





I do have my follow-up visit scheduled with my OB/GYN in 2 weeks and plan to discuss this, but if anyone knows about cycles after D%26amp;Cs that would be great!

I had a d%26amp;C and I had a small period 6weeks after. Even though my period didn't last very long for the first cycle the doctor said "we'll call that a period" So basically you should just have to wait that 6 weeks you are supposed to wait anyway..and then GO FOR IT!!! Reply:Mine took a whopping 10 weeks to come back. My doctor said anywhere from 4-12 is normal, with most taking 4-6. My period actually came back a bit heavier then it usually is and I was pregnant two weeks after that. Even with my period being MIA for 10 weeks, my baby is dating only 1 day off by ultrasound so I must have ovulated according to my regular dates.

Mine period was back in 3 weeks... but my doctor said it could take up to 9 weeks.


The only thing you can do is wait and see.
