New School Loaned Camera. How do I get my computer to read it??? No C.D!?

I just got a camera on loan from my school for the next few weeks, but have to finish a project tonight for a class. I am trying to import footage using Adobe Premire Pro. I cannot get my computer to understand the "new hardware". It knows that something has connected to the computer, but i have no means to get it to understand the camera. Help.

The Camera is a -- JVC GR-D93U

Download either DVIO

or windv

http://www.softpedia.com/get/multimedia/...

They are both free.

Connect the camera with firewire.
Reply:camera is used for photography and computer is used for data loading -unloading,
Reply:There is a setting in the camera called Interface. It can be either set to : 1) mass storage device or 2) PTP i.e camera. Set the camera to mass storage device. You donot need to download the pictures from adobe premier. Just go to my computer. Your computer will recognise the camera as a normal USB flash drive.
Reply:go to jvc website and download driver
