Does Leona Helmsley give a new meaning to the word "*********"?

NEW YORK - Leona Helmsley's dog will continue to live an opulent life, and then be buried alongside her in a mausoleum. But two of Helmsley's grandchildren got nothing from the late luxury hotelier and real estate billionaire's estate.

Does Leona Helmsley give a new meaning to the word "*********"?
No not at all, there are a genetically engineered species out there that she was a part of that actually believe that mere dogs and cats are more important than a human life. Who are we to question that all of those millions could have been used to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, offer help to people displaced because of floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, or been used to offer scholarships to kids to give them a chance to continue their education.

It was her money she worked so hard for it and if she saw fit that a four legged creature that licks its own butt and eats scraps should have all that money then who are we to think we know better than her.

Truely I only wish I had no heart and could go out and find these ignorant people and talk them into believing in my new religion so I could just wait til they died to get big will settlements for the Church of Canines
Reply:I don't really care what she did with her money - it's not my business. Just as it's no one else's business who I choose to include in my own will
Reply:yes, what the heck is a dog going to do with 12 mil? It should be illegal to leave things to pets in a legally documented will.
Reply:No, she gave the other 2 grand kids some money. It was her decision, therefore I am happy with it.
Reply:Her will said they were getting nothing for reasons of which they already were aware. (Perhaps they sided with the media, and were hateful toward her, so now are getting their comeuppance?)

If anything, this is a good reason to return that "B" word to the domain of canines. Necause what so FEW people are saying -- and what NBC's "Today" show, today, was FAIR enough to point out -- is that Leona left many hundreds of millions of dollars, and perhaps as much as 1 or 2 BILLION dollars -- to **charitable** organizations.

Anyone who does THAT is **NO** ******!!
Reply:of course she does.....the world is full of control and power freaks!!!

"Grandma Dearest"!!!!
Reply:Heck, she did that years ago.
Reply:We dont know why she cut her grandchildren out of the will. It seems to me they must of done something horrible to her to cause that. It was her money to do as she saw fit and she did leave the bulk of her estate to a charity foundation.
Reply:give a new meaning?? im pretty sure she invented the word! what the heck is a dog going to do with all that money?
Reply:Only goes to show what happens to those who become rich and powerful. She claimed only the poor should pay taxes. Bet she benefited from the tax cuts of Republicans over the years.
Reply:Will everyone please stop thinking poorly of Leona Helmsley. Let's show some respect! After all the women is, as we speak, entering her eternal life in HELL. I just hope this darling puppy of hers has the where with all to have a will made out for him with the millions left over to go to people that could really use it.
Reply:Why, I am sure in her eyes the grandchildren did something she was not please by... her money, her decision. I am sure your kids or grandchildren have been punished in one way or the other, this is just that... they are being punished for not following grandma's rules.
Reply:I wouldn't expect - or accept - a plug nickel from her. Good riddance.
Reply:She always seemed like such a nice lady too.
Reply:Wow.... wish I was her dog!
Reply:She was within her rights. She could leave it all to the Hare Krishnas if she wanted to. Relationships are complicated, too...you don't know what sort of issues she had with the grandkids.

I'm not a fan of hers, but it was her cash to give as she saw fit.
