I cloned my C drive onto new HD (hooked up by USB) which will go in comp. I cant name it C for boot wha to do

- the cloned C is named F right now connected externally right now hooked up through USB

- the computer wont let me name it C (in disk management) in order to boot up after installation. I cant rename the original C because it is "system or boot volume".

- how do I make this happen?

P.S. cant get into safe mode old HD screwed up
