I want to buy a brand new corolla CE and I wonder if i can negoiate the price w/ the dealer. and wt do i need to pay attention when i am buying a new car
Buy new c ar question?
If you're buying it from a Toyota dealership, bear in mind that the salesperson dealing with you will not make a commission on a corolla car sale. See if you can conjure something up with the salesman where he can knock off a few extra bills and you'll flip him something for it.
I bought my girl a corolla about three months ago. It was priced at $18,431 I walked away paying $14,400 and giving the salesman $500.
Reply:Yes you can negotiate the price of course.
I don't know what price you have been quoted, but...
As far as I know, Corolla has rebate of 750 dollars.
And you can or should be able to buy it in invoice price.
In invoice plus the rebate.
I know that I can give it to you like that if you are located in Southern California. = )
How do I know this?
Because I'm an used car salesman / Wholesaler / New Car broker. = )
Reply:Pay attencion to gas mileage, saftey features, etc. Yes, you can "bargain" with the dealer. I got Honda Accord that started at $20,150 and I got it for $16,000. Good Luck!
Reply:Pay attention to the person that is selling you the car. He may get you to pay more by asking you a few questions. If he does, just go to another dealer. You may negotiate by I don't think he'll give you more than a $2,000 discount.
Reply:Ask what the dealer cost was, then negotiate your price from there. Never pay dealer prep fees on a new car, there is nothing to prep, period. Shop around, pit a couple dealerships against each other, letting each know that the low bid with the best overall benefits will get your business.
