I have had hell with this a/c. Removed and replaced the compressor twice. Bypassed the computer and recharged and it worked. One year later it only blows hot air and the compressor will not engage again. Whats going on with this?

It sounds like you have a leak somewhere in the system. Once the pressure drops below a certain amount the low pressure switch will not allow it to turn on. Have you had the system dye checked? If not, that may be the only way you will ever find a leak. A "sniffer" will need to be used on the inside at the vents.
Reply:Its a ford..I have the same problem with my Ford...nothing ever stays working on it.. best to get rid and get a new car that isn't a ford.
Reply:You have a leak some where , Have it serviced, or if you are doing it your self get a can of dye and then look for leak the man at the shop will have a sniffer and locate it and then repair . just don't get up set just be positive and say gonna fix it over and over and think , hope this helps.
