Nero 7 essentials says that the c.d is full when its brand new.....?

I just got a new cd burner and i burnt two cds sucessfully, but now when i hit the button 'burn' it just says 'PLEASE INSERT A EMPTY DISK TO WRITE TO....'





and it is empty because i have tryed several and there all brand new.


Using CD-R's.

Some cheap CD-Rs can be defective. I would try another brand or other disk. Still have problems? Go to device manager %26gt; Uninstall the drive %26gt; go to the Action menu %26gt; Scan for hardware changes. Should refresh the device with the drivers.

Reply:The CD-R maybe defective.Even if it is brand new or what brand is that, you can never expect a 100% assurance that it is good. Replace the CD-R.
